The Corporate Officers
	Perry M. DePue, President — Received his BA in Government from Christopher Newport University. After serving in bank management positions in Newport News, he moved to Williamsburg in 1975 to become Senior Vice President with Old Colony Bank on Jamestown Road. In 1980, Perry left banking to begin his career in insurance. In 1992, Perry and Susan acquired full ownership of Williamsburg Insurance. In addition to his business accomplishments, Perry served on the James City County Board of Supervisors from 1980-1997 and was elected by his colleagues to four terms as chairman. In 1995-1996, he was elected by his peers to serve as Chairman of the Hampton Roads Mayors & Chairs which consists of the top elected officials from the eight cities, two towns and five counties of Tidewater. Additionally, Perry served on the Executive Committee of the Virginia Peninsula Economic Development Commission and as a Director of the Virginia Municipal Self Insurance Group, the largest self-insured organization in the State of Virginia. Perry is a proud past president of the Williamsburg Land Conservancy and enjoys tennis with his buddies in Ford’s Colony.
	Susan Mullins DePue,Vice President–  Prior to joining Perry full time in the agency in 1992, Sue developed expertise in a variety of professions.  She wrote her first insurance policy in 1964 and has also worked at the regional office level in the insurance industry.  Sue has taught Biology, Chemistry, and related sciences and has worked for the U.S. Army and Navy. She brings to the agency her creative problem solving ability and her strong commitment to be an advocate for positive change.   She has been active in the community for many years and has volunteered her time in many organizations, particularly those that focus on the welfare of children.
